There were many standouts from Chelsea’s 7-0 rout of Wolves in the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup on Monday night as Ed Brands’ side progressed through to the sixth round of the competition to set up a clash with Millwall.
Marcel Lewis was instrumental with his hat-trick while Armando Broja and Ian Maatsen also caught the eye, but Tino Anjorin arguably scored the goal of the game to cap off an incredible individual display.
Captaining the side on the night, Anjorin scored Chelsea’s third goal of the game and it was particularly easy on the eye as he combined his physicality with his nimble footwork to dribble past multiple defenders before finding the back of the net with a deft finish.
Anjorin, who was handed his senior debut by Lampard in Chelsea’s 7-1 win against Grimsby Town in the EFL Cup back in September, has been in fine form for the Blues in the Premier League 2 this term.
The England U-19 international has already drawn comparisons with Ruben Loftus-Cheek, scoring 5 goals and picking up 3 assists in 10 appearances for the U23s in the PL 2 so far.
Past four Wolves players and in the back of the net! 👌
