In the Premier League on Sunday, Chelsea and Crystal Palace played to a dismal 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge. Social media was used by fans to vent about their displeasure with Enzo Fernandez’s performance.
The Argentine, who supposedly left Benfica in January 2023 for a whooping £106.8 million, mishandled 14 passes and squandered possession a whopping 19 times during the match.
Alongside Moises Caicedo, Fernandez played base midfield but struggled defensively, not managing to muster a single block, interception, or clearance.
The disgruntled Chelsea supporters analyzed Fernandez’s performance in great detail, hurling jabs at X.

Chelsea had gone in front through Nicolas Jackson, who latched onto a superb floating cross from Cole Palmer to make it 1-0 after 25 minutes into the kick-off. Palace fought back after the break as Eberechi Eze picked up the ball on the edge of the box and curled home a brilliant strike for 1-1.
The Blues are away to Bournemouth after the international break while winless Palace host promoted side Leicester City.
