“We need to replace him” – Chelsea owners have made massive decision about signing big man in January window
In the January transfer window, Chelsea’s owners have determined that the team does not require a new goalkeeper.
They are now in second place in the Premier League and appear to be a team that will be extremely difficult to stop this season due to Enzo Maresca’s enormous effect. The start of the season has left everyone stunned.
But there have been many reports in the media that we are looking to improve a number of areas in the squad and adding a new stopper to the side is something that will reportedly help us really win that Premier League title.
Robert Sanchez has been a massive part of that side this season – but he is not seen as a man that is good enough to play for one of the big Premier League clubs and has really struggled to impress.
That has led to alot of speculation in the media that we will once again delve into that transfer kitty and add a new goalkeeper to the side, but The Athletic reports the Blues hierarchy doesn’t take the view that they are only a centre-back and ‘keeper away from landing the top-flight title.
