Welcome to Chelsea? As defender agreed personal terms with Chelsea
According to latest reports, The Blues have reportedly agreed personal terms to sign a new defender in January.
However, Chelsea are going to be one of the busiest clubs in the winter market, and a new defender is one of the priorities high up on the to-do list for the new owners.
According to recent reports, Chelsea have constantly been linked to RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol, but things on that one have recently gone quiet. It looks like Chelsea have turned their attentions to a cheaper option for that area, with Monaco’s Benoit Badiashile a real target they are pushing for.
There have been two reliable updates on this one today. One below from Foot Mercato’s reliable reporters saying that Chelsea are confident to complete the transfer of Badiashile. Final details to be settled between the parties. The transfer will be around 40M €.
And that’s been backed up now by the reliable Ben Jacobs of CBS, who says that Chelsea are progressing fast on a deal for Badiashile. Personal terms have already been agreed with the French defender.
