Chelsea lost to Liverpool in Wednesday’s Super Cup clash after a penalty shootout. The game ended in a 2-2 draw after 120 minutes.
The Blues were the better side for long spells during the UEFA Super Cup final but were undone on penalties as Adrian saved Tammy Abraham’s spot kick.
Pedro has revealed he’s proud of Chelsea after the team’s display against Liverpool on Wednesday.
Pedro, who had good game against Liverpool, insisted the players will keep working together to get results.
“Proud of this team. We fought until the end. We will keep working together to get results. Come on Chelsea,” Pedro wrote on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has bemoaned Chelsea’s penalty-shootout defeat by Liverpool.
Lampard said: “I’m the worst loser in the world and I hate it. The way they played, the spirit, the desire, the quality.
“I know we lost and that’s it but (we take) confidence for the season. We have got real quality in there. Sometimes football is little moments of luck.
