The blues produced a massive comeback to beat Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. Aubameyang had given Arsenal the lead as early as the 13th minute of the game, but two late goals from Jorginho and Tammy Abraham sealed a massive win for the Blues.
Jorginho was the game changer for Chelsea but could easily have gotten a second yellow card after bringing down Matteo Guendouzi as he broke away but the referee did not penalise him. Few minutes afterwards, he got a goal much to the fury of Arsenal fans before Abraham sealed the win for Chelsea.
Despite the controversial incident, there were no hard feelings between the Arsenal skipper Aubameyang and Jorginho as he chose not to dwell on the incident and laughed and joked with the midfielder in the tunnel after the game before exchanging shirts.
David Luiz who joined the Gunners in the summer, also shared a chat with his old teammate, hugging Jorginho and also chatting with Mateo Kovacic and N’Golo Kante after the game.
However, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta wasn’t happy with the incident as he said after the game: “I think that’s up to the referee but for me it’s very clear. That’s it.
“I blame my team [for defeat]. We are responsible for everything we did wrong on that football pitch. The decisions we didn’t get right, obviously. The other things we cannot control or change them now.”
