“Who does he think he is? A lunatic owner” – Todd Boehly blasts for latest club decision
Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has been called a lunatic by beIN SPORTS presenter Richard Keys.
Keys took aim at Boehly in his blog, labelling the Chelsea owner a “lunatic” after he reportedly sought the advice of TV star James Corden before appointing Frank Lampard as interim Chelsea manager.
After learning that former Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch had turned down the Leicester job, Keys’ joked that he must have spoken to Boehly regarding the vacant Chelsea position.
“Who does he [Marsch] think he is?” Keys wrote. “Maybe he’s had a call from that lunatic Boehly telling him to hold off because he’s in line to replace Lampard?
“Boehly, we read, is now taking advice from James Corden. Well – it makes sense doesn’t it? Perhaps Fred Karno was engaged when he tried to call him? Seriously. What is Marsch waiting for? I don’t see him getting another offer to work in the PL.”
