Christian Pulisic is being predicted to be a star figure in the Chelsea ranks when he joins from Borussia Dortmund after this season.
The 20-year-old was signed for £73m in January 2019 as a potential replacement for Eden Hazard. The latter is expected to leave for a hefty sum this summer which would understandably leave a vacant spot on the left wing position.
Not only is Pulisic deft in playing that exact role, his potential to grow as a footballer is boundless. He has already developed into a quality wideman at such an young age and is the attacking talisman in his senior national side.
He also has a massive following back in his home country which could work to Chelsea’s advantage in the long run.
Speaking about the South West London club’s presence in the USA, chairman, Bruce Buck said, “The surveys tell us we’re very strong on both coasts.
We have some work to do in the middle, but in round terms, I think we’re doing as well as any other big club.
“He’s a personable boy well-linked in his country, so of course I would expect and think he will be helpful when we come here and play some friendly matches, which is what our objective is for the summer.”
