Enzo Fernandez has declared that he intends to compete for Argentina in the next Olympics.
Enzo is awaiting Chelsea’s decision regarding his participation, having discussed this with Argentina’s head coach Javier Mascherano.
The Olympic football competition takes place from July 24 to August 9. If Argentina advances far in the competition, Enzo Fernandez may miss Chelsea’s opening game or return to the field without enough recuperation.
“I want to be in the Olympic Games. I spoke with [head coach Javier] Mascherano and I told him that I want to go… let’s see with Chelsea if they let me go,” the Chelsea midfielder said.
