Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante miss the clash against Burnley this afternoon.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard named a midfield trio of Jorginho, Ross Barkley and Mason Mount.
Speaking before the game, Lampard revealed that Kante missed the game through a hamstring injury and also added that it was a good opportunity for Barkley in the first team.
“He’s reported some feeling in his hamstring yesterday after training,” Lampard told Sky Sports before Chelsea’s clash with Burnley.
“We have him overnight to see how it was, it wasn’t good enough this morning so not good enough to play.
“Though these things always give an opportunity you don’t want them because we’re missing good players.
“N’Golo… everyone knows how important he is for us. But not worth the risk in any way but opens the door for Ross Barkley at this point to come in and play.”
