The transfer window is now open, some Chelsea fans are desperate for the club to sign in Ajax’s winger Hakim Ziyech.
Willian replacement lets strike

However, Ziyech has caught the attention of London rivals Arsenal, according to CalcioMercato, but some Chelsea supporters would like to see him move to Stamford Bridge rather than the Emirates, where he has been linked in the past.
They have already seen first-hand what Ziyech can do after his superb free-kick resulted in Kepa scoring an own goal in that exhilarating 4-4 Champions League draw at the Bridge back in November.
Stats also suggest that the Morocco international would be a huge upgrade on Chelsea’s current crop of attackers. For example, according to WhoScored, Ziyech makes 3.6 key passes per Eredivisie game. That is in stark contrast to Willian and Christian Pulisic, who are making two and 1.2 in the Premier League, respectively.
With that level of creativity, it is hardly a surprise that the former FC Twente man has managed to muster up 12 league assists this term, which is again more than what Willian (4) and Pulisic (2) have produced.
The Blues are not currently linked to Ziyech, but they are keen on strengthening their forward options, with The Telegraph reporting that Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho is a target for the club.
