Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain will reportedly be ‘tempted’ by Chelsea if Maurizio Sarri takes charge of the club this summer.
Reports have claimed that Alvaro Morata is looking to leave the club this summer. We were all highly optimistic when he sealed his club-record move to Stamford Bridge a year ago, but his first season in blue was one defined by disappointment.
It would come as no surprise if Chelsea looked to recruit a tried and tested striker, who would guarantee us goals in our pursuit of Champions League football. Higuain could be exactly what we’re after, and recruiting him is by no means out the question.
Sport Italia claim that Higuain has had his head turned by the prospect of a summer reunion with former boss Sarri. It’s also mentioned that Juventus are open to the idea of selling him if they receive an offer in the region of €60M.
Once Sarri takes charge, this deal may well accelerate.
