Arsenal agree a five-year deal with this Chelsea transfer target: What now for Lampard?

Arsenal have been keeping tabs on PSG left-back Layvin Kurzawa for some time and finally they might have agreed on a deal – as per reports.

Layvin Kurzawa joined PSG in 2015 but is going to be out of contract at the end of the current season. And since the club is not going to offer him a new deal, the full-back will be available on a free transfer.

Up until recently, Arsenal weren’t the only club interested in signing Layvin Kurzawa with the likes of Chelsea and Barcelona also looking to make a move for him in the summer.

And for a brief period it seemed like La Liga side Barcelona were the favourites to land him.

Now as per reports, the Gunners seem to have agreed on a five-year deal with the player meaning they finally have a proper backup at the left-back position after having used Bukayo Saka in that role for most of this season.

Arsenal are just one step away from completing the transfer and this is a serious cause of concern for their Premier League rivals Chelsea.

If Arsenal are able to warp up this deal it will surely be bad news for Frank Lampard as the Chelsea boss is desperate to sign a new left-back during the summer.
