Bayern Munich and Chelsea in advanced talks to sign £40m-rated highly defender
German champions Bayern Munich are in advanced talks with the agent of Chelsea transfer target Dayot Upamecano.

However, Bayern Munich have resigned themselves to losing David Alaba at the end of his contract this summer and see Upamecano as his suitable successor at the Allianz Arena.
Upamecano reportedly has a £40 million release clause in his RB Leipzig contract and according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the French defender can leave RB Leipzig at the end of the season.
