Chelsea ‘new signing’ could return to his old club after latest transfer decision

According to latest reports, Fluminense’s manager Marcão has given the hint that Chelsea defender Thiago Silva is keen to return to one of his former clubs in his country home, Brazil.

The Brazilian joined the West London outfit during the last summer on a free transfer after his PSG contract expired last year and has enjoyed a good stay at the club so far, paring with Kurt Zouma.

Thiago Silva might have his flaws of lack of speed and the age factor, but his experience has proved a great deal for the Blues team which manager Frank Lampard would have loved to enjoy for a longer period of time.

Though, the Blues are currently struggling especially after their defeat which las led to call for the sack of manager Frank Lampard. It is also feared that the situation could lead to the exit of the player.

With Thiago Silva’s current Chelsea deal potent until the end of the season, the future is uncertain for him at Stamford Bridge, despite having an option to have another year but at 36 and the current form of the club, there are lots of uncertainties.
