“Come back”- Some CFC fans think one man’s return is what”this Chelsea team is crying out for”

Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to call for the return of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, following a disappointing 1-0 defeat to West Ham on Saturday.

The Blues academy graduate ruptured his Achilles tendon during an end-of-season friendly against New England Revolution back in May.

He has yet to make an appearance since that untimely injury that saw him miss the Europa League final win over Arsenal and the entirety of the campaign so far.

Loftus-Cheek’s injury was a real shame for the 10-cap England international, as he enjoyed a fine 2018/19 campaign that saw him score ten goals and record five assists.

Following the defeat to the Hammers at Stamford Bridge, a number of Chelsea fans have pinpointed Loftus-Cheek’s absence as a significant talking point right now, and have called for the 23-year-old’s return.

One fan said that this current Chelsea team is “crying out” for the Englishman, whereas another supporter said that he is “desperately needed”.
