Eden Hazard finally admits his first season at Real Madrid is bad

Ex-Chelsea star Eden Hazard left the Blues last summer for a stunning £88m move to Spanish giants, Real Madrid, but it hasn’t really gone well for the Belgian in Spain’s capital.

Hazard was enjoying a formidable stay with Chelsea, but form and injury has affected him at the Los Blancos.

Hazard has only managed one goal and five assists from 15 appearances in all competitions, but he has vowed to come back stronger next season.

“My first season at Madrid is bad, but not everything is bad,” Hazard told RTBF.

“It is an adaptation season. I will be judged in the second. It is up to me to be in good shape next year.

“The group is good, I have met new people. For me it is a great experience. I still have four years of contract, I hope be in good shape.”

Meanwhile, Watford striker Andre Gray has named former Chelsea star Eden Hazard as the best player he has faced. During a live chat on Watford’s official Instagram channel, Gray was asked about the best player he has ever come up against.

“It’s Eden Hazard,” Gray replied. “I Remember at Burnley he played with against us with his laces undone and just ran around like he was training.”
