GOOD NEWS: Ajax star to agree personal terms with Chelsea in coming days

Ajax play-maker Hakim Ziyech is likely to agree on personal terms of his contract with Chelsea in the coming days, highly-reliable reporter David Ornstein claims.

“Chelsea have verbal agreement with Ajax to sign Hakim Ziyech for €45m in summer,” The Athletic’s correspondent has tweeted.

“€30m release clause removed via new deal in Aug. Personal terms not done yet, but likely in coming days.

However, The Blues are the only club in talks with Ajax (since Dec), developed this week.”

Earlier today, Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf has been the first to announce that the Premier League club have reached a verbal agreement with the Dutch side over a summer transfer for the Morocco international.

The 26-year-old was named as one of the two top targets for the rebuild Frank Lampard intends to start in the summer.

The other name in ESPN’s report is Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell who is also rumoured to be pursued by Manchester City and Man United.
