Stunning reports have claimed that Chelsea are interested in Manchester City star Sergio Aguero.
Despite being unbeaten as boss of the club, it is no secret that Thomas Tuchel will be seeking to improve the squad and possibly bring in another striker to bolster the attack.
There has been talk that Erling Haaland is the number one target, while the latest reports have suggested that we could also make an ambitious move to bring Harry Kane from Spurs.
WHAT IS THE LATEST ON AGUERO?
It was already known that Sergio Aguero’s expiring Manchester City contract had captivated Spain’s top clubs, but the Daily Mail reports there’s also developing domestic interest in the striker, with THE CLUB hopeful Aguero will want to remain in the UK beyond this campaign.
Aguero and City have still not held any talks about the future, the Daily Mail says, opening the door to a summer departure.
The forward has a long-documented injury history but remains lethal when healthy. As Timo Werner continues his inconsistent first season in the Premier League, we are perhaps in the mood to add someone with a proven track record in the competition to support their German signing.
Look, we are massive fans of Aguero and a few seasons ago we would have loved to see the man make that big money move to the Bridge, but he is not the same player he was a few seasons ago and would struggle at the club.
There is no need to pay him that big wage to bring him to the club, we should go for a younger, more hungrier player that has more than two years left at the top of the game.
If he does actually make that move to Chelseafc, he will be welcomed by the fans, but it is still not the right move to make from the Blues.
