Fresh reports claimed that Chelsea are ready to pay £100 million to try and sign Lyon star Moussa Dembele in the summer.
There has been ALOT of transfer speculation in the media over the past few weeks linking Chelsea with a number of possible deals, and a possible number of signings in order for Frank Lampard to improve his side.
And it is very obvious that the Chelsea boss is keen to add another striker to his side, as TAMMY ABRAHAM cannot do things on his own, while Michy Batshuayi is seen more of an impact player off the bench, while Olivier Giroud is seemingly on his way out of the club.
And that has led to speculation in the media claiming that Chelsea were closing in on a deal for the impressive Dembele during the January window, who is being chased by all the top clubs in the world after another impressive start to the new season, but a move failed to materialise.
However, with Chelsea desperate to make sure that they get challenging for the Premier League title next season, the Daily Express website have claimed that Chelsea will now delve into that transfer kitty and bring in a striker that can score goals on a regular basis.
Dembele has netted a over 20 goals for Lyon this season and Lampard is confident that he will take his frontline to the next level with the Premier League experience he acquired while at Fulham.
Dembele is a very talented young man that has the potential to be a great partner for Tammy Abraham, and considering the Blues see the England International as their long-term striker, the former Celtic star could be a great back-up for the Blues?
However, £100 million is alot of money to spend and maybe the Blues could sign a more established striker for that kind of money.
