£180million duo set to replace Kante, Loftus-Cheek, Zakaria and Kovacic at Chelsea

With N’Golo Kante, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Denis Zakaria and Mateo Kovacic all expected to leave Chelsea this summer, signing a midfielder is a priority for the Blues.

According to 90min, Chelsea would push to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice and Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo this summer.

Having already missed out on Manuel Ugarte to PSG, Chelsea are now pushing to sign Rice and Caicedo.

Rice is valued in excess of £100m and West Ham are prepared to stand firm on that figure. His current contract runs until 2024 but the Hammers have the option to extend that by a further 12 months.

Brighton’s demands for Caicedo are not expected to be as high, with an £80m fee thought to be enough to secure the signature of the Ecuador international.
