3 for sure out, 3 doubtful to play – as Tuchel gives worrying injury update ahead of Watford clash
Ahead of Chelsea’s Premier league clash against Watford, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has provides the player’s injury update ahead of the game.
Ahead of the clash The Blues boss Thomas Tuchel told Chelsea FC: “He [Romelu Lukaku] came on and we continued to train. There is no reaction from his injured ankle. He is ready to progress, this is where he is.
“For sure out – Chilwell, Kovacic and N’Golo Kante.”
The coach then added: “We have some doubts of players, more time and examinations. Reece James, Jorginho and Timo. They all trained today but there will be some last-minute decisions.”
The gaffer did not specify why Reece, Jorginho and Werner are doubts. However, there doesn’t seem to be a major injury to any of the three players so hopefully, they can be fit for this game.
However, Chelsea will take on Watford tomorrow night at Vicarage Road.
