£30m man to replace Azpilicueta after agreement, as £100 million man opens door to possible Chelsea move

According to latest reports, Chelsea will reportedly make a shock attempt to sign Brighton defender Adam Webster in the summer transfer window, as a replacement for Cesar Azpilicueta.

However, Azpilicueta is a player that has been in the headlines alot over the past few weeks as indications suggest that he will be leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the current season.

The Spaniard is out of contract at the end of the season and is yet to extend his deal into next season, and That leaves Azpilicueta free to leave in the summer transfer window. He has been linked with a return to Spain.

It has been claimed already that Azpilicueta has an agreement with Barcelona to make a move to the camp Nou on a two-year deal, and with Fellow defenders Rudiger and Christensen also looking set to leave, Webster is now on the shopping list

Azpilicueta has often played at centre-back when Thomas Tuchel has used a back three, and Webster might jump ahead in the pecking order.

Webster has had a brilliant season over at Brighton and he has been so impressive, that there are rumours Gareth Southgate will call him up to his England Squad in the coming months

It is believed that Brighton do not want to sell in the summer, but know the £30 million they would generate from the sale of Webster would be alot of money to help improve their own squad.

Chelsea have been left on transfer alert after target Joao Felix upset his boss at Atletico Madrid.

We have one of the very best squads in world football and many clubs around the globe are jealous at the team Thomas Tuchel currently has.

However, there is still alot of speculation in the media about the type of players that the German will want to add to his squad in the coming transfer window, especially as he is not happy with the attack he has right now

And that has once again led to rumours that Felix is a player that Tuchel is keen on bringing to the club.

Atletico Madrid’s La Liga title defence has not gone according to plan. Currently 15 points adrift of league leaders and bitter rivals Real Madrid, Diego Simeone’s side have lost their touch this campaign.

Addressing the issues the team are facing at present, Atletico forward Joao Felix has caused controversy by suggesting he knows ‘what the problem’ is but didn’t wish to disclose such information.

This prompted a strong reaction from Simeone, who snapped back: “About what Joao said, you can ask him. I work according to the team. If he is clear about what the problem is, it would be good to know.”

And we have learned that Felix’s comments may now have placed the board and other European sides on red alert to opportunely act in the transfer market.

However, Felix is a player that has great potential, but will cost alot of money as there is claims that Madrid wont sell for anything less that £100 million. There is no real issue right now and the media are hyping things up.
