Why Chelsea must break the bank for Ciro Immobile in January
The one fact Chelsea fans know is that their club needs a bonafide goal-scoring forward, someone who can help Eden Hazard and take the burden off the Belgian’s shoulders.

The Blues’ striking woes are well-documented, with both Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata being woeful this season. The duo has netted a combined 6 goals in 19 league games; an astonishingly poor return.

As a result, Maurizio Sarri has been forced to use Eden Hazard in a false-9 role at times.

And while the move has paid rich dividends of late, one cannot deny the fact that Chelsea clearly need a prolific goalscorer in their ranks.

That said, Maurizio Sarri must make a move for Lazio star Ciro Immobile in January.

Ciro Immobile, 28, has become one of the deadliest strikers in Italy in the last couple of years.

He has netted over 50 goals in Lazio colours over the last two seasons in the Serie A and has managed to reproduce the brilliant form so far in the 2018/19 campaign as well.
