According to Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea is competing to try to get Jule Kounde, the standout defender for Barcelona, in the summer.
Ted Boehly is rumored to still be keen to sign a few more players during the transfer window, even if Chelsea has not yet formally announced that Mauricio Pochettino would remain the manager for the upcoming campaign.
Since Kounde’s time at Sevilla, Chelsea has been connected to the player, but they haven’t been able to persuade the Frenchman that a transfer to the Premier League is necessary.
However – Kounde’s future in Spain now looks uncertain as the Spaniards are going to sell a number of players in the coming transfer window in hope that they can freshen up the side after a disappointing campaign.
