£70M rated midfielder wants to partner with Enzo Fernandez at Chelsea
According to Relevo.com, Chelsea are interested in signing Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister.
The website claims that the Blues will “seek to” partner the 24-year-old with his international teammate Enzo Fernandez, but they will face competition from the likes of Liverpool for his signature.
Mac Allister is expected to be in high demand this summer, with Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United having also been linked in other reports.
However, Relevo say that Chelsea and Liverpool are likely to be the main two contenders for the Argentine’s services, having “deepened their conversations” with the player’s representatives in “recent weeks”. They don’t provide any details in terms of how much the midfielder could cost but it has been suggested that Brighton may want at least £70m.
Considering the amount of interest being shown in Mac Allister, though, there is a good chance that the Seagulls may demand a higher fee than that.
