9am: €40m man turns down Barcelona offer as he wants Chelsea move, as Club President issues possible £25m deal to Chelsea

According to Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez is reportedly open to joining a Premier League club this summer after talks with Spanish side Barcelona broke down.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all reportedly interested in signing the Atletico Madrid midfielder.

The report claims talks between Barcelona and Saul broke down due to his wage demands and his agent is now searching for a Premier League transfer.

Saul has spent his entire career at Atletico, aside from one season on loan at Rayo Vallecano, and the 28 year old midfielder is now set to leave this summer.

Rennes president Nicolas Holveck has issued an update on the future of Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga amid interest from Manchester United.

Nedu is out of contract at the Ligue 1 side next summer and is said to be available for £25.7m in the current transfer window.

Discussions are still ongoing, everything is open, either for a departure during this transfer window – if an offer satisfies everyone – or to extend (his contract),” Holveck said, according to RMC Sport.

“He won’t leave for cheap, we’ve had a lot of discussions but nothing is complete one way or another.”

Camavinga has been capped four times by France but missed out on a place in their European Championship squad. He was named in the France squad for this month’s Olympics in Tokyo, but was then omitted from the updated list.
