£85 million ‘killer striker’ releases statement about making possible Chelsea move this month

Chelsea have been dealt a blow in their efforts to sign Lyon striker Moussa Dembele after the Lyon striker declared that he will remain with the French club until the end of the season. There has been alot of transfer speculation in the media over the past few weeks linking Chelsea with a number of possible deals, and a possible number of signings in order for Frank Lampard to improve his side.

And it is very obvious that the Chelsea boss is keen to add another striker to his side, as Tammy Abraham cannot do things on his own, while Michy Batshuayi is seen more of an impact player off the bench, while Olivier Giroud is seemingly on his way out of the club.

And that has led to speculation in the media claiming that Chelsea are closing in on a deal for the impressive Dembele, who is being chased by all the top clubs in the world after another impressive start to the new season.

It has been believed that Chelsea have made contact, Lampard has admitted his interest in a deal, and even some reports claiming that A VERBAL AGREEMENT has been reached with the players representatives.

But the English giants have been dealt a blow after Dembele come out and announced that he will be staying at Lyon this transfer window, he said on the Daily Express: “I am a Lyon player and I will remain so until the end of the season.

“I do not think that there will be a departure this winter. “Lots of things are being said. It is up to me to ignore that and remain concentrated on the pitch.”

Chelsea need to make some signings this month and they need to do it quick, as there has been a lot of talk in the media, but not much transfer moving. So if Chelsea are interested in signing this lad, it is a shame that they wont be able to this transfer window. But they cant be rash and make a signing that will not make much of impact, they need to take their time and sign the right alternative.
