Edinson Cavani handed in a transfer request at Paris Saint-Germain during the January transfer window with the Uruguayan striker keen on leaving after falling down the pecking order at the French club.
The Blues tried to sign the striker during the January transfer window but Cavani preferred a move to Spanish club Atletico Madrid.
Cavani will become a free agent in the summer with his PSG contract expiring at the end of the season.
According to French publication L’Equipe, Cavani would be open to joining Chelsea or Manchester United in the summer when he becomes a free agent.
