Willy Caballero had been in goal for the Blues in the last six games before Chelsea boss Frank Lampard handed Kepa Arrizabalaga a start against Liverpool on Tuesday.
However, Kepa was dropped to the bench by Lampard following a series of errors but the Spaniard impressed against Liverpool on Tuesday.
According to The Sun, Kepa will be in goal for Chelsea’s Premier League game against Everton this weekend.
Kepa was one of Chelsea’s best players against Liverpool on Tuesday and he has is now expected to start in goal against Everton this weekend.
“Big pressure on the stopper [on Tuesday] and he delivered,” states The Sun.
“Pulled off a hat-trick of brilliant saves in the first-half to somehow keep Chelsea in front.
“Wasn’t really tested in the second half but vitally made no mistakes. Expect him to be No1 again in [Chelsea’s] next game.”
