Kepa Arrizabalaga has endured a difficult season after being dropped by Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, with Willy Caballero preferred in the starting XI.

The £71.6million signing from Athletic Bilbao was recalled for the FA Cup game against Liverpool and Premier League game against Everton, keeping a clean sheet in both games.

Despite getting back into the starting XI, Kepa’s future as Chelsea’s number one goalkeeper is uncertain as the Blues are keen on signing a goalkeeper this summer.

Manchester United’s Dean Henderson, Andre Onana of Ajax and Gianluigi Donnarumma of AC Milan have all been linked with a summer move to Chelsea.

Kepa isn’t troubled at the possibility of Chelsea signing a goalkeeper in the summer. According to Daily Mail, he is ready to stay at Chelsea and fight for his place in the team.

The 25-year old is happy in London and has been assured by senior figures that he has a future at the club even if Lampard pushes for improved competition.
