Chelsea players have been in self-isolation since Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi contracted coronavirus and Blues boss Frank Lampard has ensured the players remain fit during the coronavirus crisis by delivering mobile gyms to the players.

Fitness experts have revealed that most players will return back to their clubs short of fitness, but Blues boss Frank Lampard is wary of that and is keeping close tabs on his players.

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has confirmed that the club has a plan for the players to stay fit.

“We have a plan from the club based on our training so there are some things we can do at home and we just follow that plan,” the defender told Chelsea via phone.

“Then we have to wait for decisions to be made and for things to get better.

“At the moment, it’s okay for me. In these type of circumstances, we just have to hope for the best and hope that everyone in the world is not getting affected by the virus.”

Besides providing the exercise bikes for indoor use, the Chelsea players were also provided with nutritional plans designed to be used alongside tailored fitness programmes to maintain their levels of physical condition.
