Chelsea will have a number of decisions to make when this current season finishes, with a number of their loan players futures up in the air.
One major decision they will be making is whether to use Ethan Ampadu in the first team squad, or send him out on another loan.
This season has been a bit of a disaster for the Welsh international, only making 7 appearances for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga. And now their Sporting Director Marcus Krosche has confirmed that Amapadu ‘will be returning to Chelsea’ at the end of the season, as reported by Inside Futbol.
He was only on a season long loan deal, but this confirms that the club have no intentions to try and sign Ampadu, or even ask for a loan extension, meaning he will be rejoining the Chelsea squad in the summer.
He will hope to either get a Premier League loan move, or get promised game time under Frank Lampard.
