According to a recent report by the Evening Standard, Chelsea will consider a swoop for the pacy attacker Wilfried Zaha ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, although any move relies on whether the Eagles are willing to lower their asking price.
The 27-year-old star, who was also linked with Arsenal and Everton the previous summer, has only scored three times in 29 league appearances for Roy Hodgson’s side during the 2019-20 term.
Zaha has contributed just five assists, meantime, having struggled for consistency this season.
Meantime, Chelsea will also target transfers of AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez and Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic during this summer’s transfer window.
According to reports in Italy, Miralem, who has recently been linked with a transfer away from Juve, is a £55 million target for Chelsea, while Donnarumma is wanted from Milan in a £47 million deal.
The Blues are also allegedly prepared to spend a further £101m on Inter striker Martinez, although the Argentina international is also said to be a leading target for Barcelona.
Lampard reportedly wants to bring a new striker and midfielder to the club this summer, while a shot-stopper would be required if Spain international Kepa Arrizabalaga was moved on.
