Manchester United and Chelsea are in a battle to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, with various reports claiming Manchester United are leading the race for the 20 year old England international.
Despite currently leading the race for Sancho, Manchester United could still miss out on signing Sancho.
According to The Sun, Sancho is ready to reject Manchester United if they fail to secure Champions League football.
Sancho wants to play Champions League football next season and isn’t willing to join a club that won’t offer him Champions League football.
Manchester United have reportedly prepared an astonishing £400,000-per-week deal to secure the signing of Sancho but that won’t be enough to convince Sancho if the Red Devils fail to secure Champions League football next season.
The Blues are currently three points ahead of Manchester United and look more likely to finish in the top four.
