According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is close to joining Serie A side AC Milan after agreeing personal terms with the Italian club.
The Frenchman spent the 2018/19 season on loan at AC Milan and is keen on re-joining the Italian club ahead of the new season.
Bakayoko’s transfer to AC Milan will be a loan deal with AC Milan having the option to sign him permanently in June 2021. AC Milan will pay €3 million as loan fee for Bakayoko and will sign the Frenchman on a permanent deal for €35 million next year.
Bakayoko joined Chelsea in 2017 and made 43 appearances in his first season with the club but hasn’t played for Chelsea since then. He has instead spent time on loan at AC Milan and Monaco.
