Chelsea signing Hakim Ziyech, may not have played for his new club yet, but it didn’t deter the Moroccan coach for calling him up to the national team.

Hakim Ziyech’s Morocco played against Edouard Mendy’s Senegal in a friendly tie at Rabat.

Ziyech didn’t start the game against Morroco, but came on for the final 30 minutes. It was enough for the new signing to show the Chelsea manager what he can do.

Shortly after coming on, Ziyech showed his importance as he was involved in the build-up to Morocco’s second goal. Ziyech played a couple of one-twos before the ball was laid on a platter for Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesryi to score.

Ziyech looked sharp in the game and came out unscathed. Morocco will now play their second on Tuesday night, also a friendly in Rabat.

For Ziyech who has been training for weeks now, he’s now passed a message to Frank Lampard, telling the Blues boss that he’s ready to feature.
