Maurizio Sarri has just one injury to contend with ahead of this weekend’s clash with Bournemouth.
Chelsea will be hoping to keep the momentum going after three wins out of three. Sarri May resist the temptation to rotate his side after the quality and cohesion they showed at St. James’ Park.
If Sarri does opt to stick with the same starting eleven which overcame Rafa Benitez’s men, the one injury problem within the squad is essentially a non-issue. The only potential problem is that Cesc Fabregas remains out.
According to Physio Room, Fabregas is a ‘major doubt’ to face the Cherries as he continues to recover from a mystery leg injury he sustained against Arsenal in pre-season.
Fabregas started for Chelsea throughout our pre-season campaign, as well as being rushed back to feature against Manchester City. He may return to fitness to find that he has been replaced in the starting lineup by Mateo Kovacic.
