Chelsea legend John Terry has criticised Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen for his role in Aston Villa’s goal in the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Monday.
Christensen was fouled in the buildup to Anwar El Ghazi’s goal but Terry insist Christensen should have gotten up and not remain on the ground.
“Great to be back at the Bridge tonight @chelseafc 💙 Another great performance in the space of 48 hours from the boys @avfcofficial 💜 Rest & Recover now for our next game. @elghazi21 ⚽️” Terry wrote on Instagram.
To which @steveborham replied: “You’d have been raging at that equaliser John. The sporting side of this game has disappeared.”
Terry was quick to point at Christensen’s part in Anwar El Ghazi’s goal, saying that the Dane “should have got up”.
