Frank Lampard confirms two Chelsea stars to miss Manchester City clash
Ahead of Manchester city clash at Stamford Bridge Chelsea boss have confirmed both James and Ziyech – are not back yet, but also don’t seem far away given what Frank Lampard said in his press conference today.
“[Ziyech]trained the last two or three days. Reece James is out with a small hamstring problem,” the Chelsea boss responded when asked about the fitness of his stars in quotes picked up by Football London.
So while Reece will definitely be out, it sounds like Ziyech is on the border. We reckon he won’t be risked tonight, especially with an FA Cup game coming up to get him fit in.
But given the situation this season, who could really say they were too surprised if the Moroccan pops up against City?
