Athletic: Chelsea ready to break club record and sign €100 world class attacker this summer
According to the very reliable Athletic, Chelsea will make a big push to sign Dortmund’s world class striker Erling Haaland THIS summer, despite his release clause not coming in to affect until the summer after in 2022.
They claim that Chelsea are determined to bring a top striker to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season and that Haaland is the player they want.
They are willing to break their club’s record transfer fee on the 20-year old striker, who is largely already considered as one of the best forward’s in world football.
He is thought to favour a move to Real Madrid, but Chelsea are reportedly going to do their utmost to get him to move to Stamford Bridge instead.
This would be a massive coup for Chelsea if they did manage to pull it off, but you feel there is a long way to go on this!
