The Belgian is not sure if the goal vs Reds in League Cup was the best of his career
However, he does think it was incredibly important
Hazard believes upcoming Premer League fixture against Liverpool will be even harder for Chelsea
Eden Hazard stayed humble after the Carabao Cup victory against Liverpool.
His goal in the last minutes of the game took the Blues through to the next round – Hazard picked up the ball in the centre of the pitch and dribbled past all of the Reds’ defence.
However, the Belgian is not even sure if the strike is in his top 5 favourites. He said after the game, as cited by Daily Mail:
‘The goal was special and so was the qualification. It’s always tough to play here. That’s why the win is more important.
‘I think the game on Saturday is going to be more important.
‘I don’t know if it’s in my top five goals but it’s up there because it’s against Liverpool.’
Hazard’s goal against Liverpool was rated among his best – by fans and experts alike. The Telegraph compiled a new rating of the 10 best ever Eden Hazard’s goals for Chelsea with the Liverpool stunner firmly at No.1.
