Chelsea make massive Haaland decision, as Blues fans to see world cup winner make summer move after deal agreed

According to The Express via Evening Standard, Chelsea has decided to withdraw from the race to sign Erling Haaland.

However, reports still claims if Dortmund are willing to accept Chelsea offer then the Blues can have the chance to sign the elite striker.

The Norwegian was Thomas Tuchel’s number one target this summer, with the German manager confident that Haaland’s arrival would vastly improve his attack.

The Borussia Dortmund striker managed 41 goals from 41 appearances last season and is also wanted by Real Madrid and Manchester United.

The Red Devils, however, plan to pursue him next summer, when he could be available for a cut-price deal.

Chelsea wanted to beat the competition this time, and previous reports suggested that Tuchel was preparing to break the bank for the Norwegian. However, it now appears that the Blues are not ready to spend upto £150 million on the Norwegian this summer.

However, The Blues have identified Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane as two alternatives to Haaland, but it is unclear whether they have ended their interest in the Norwegian once and for all.

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has agreed a deal to join AC Milan, according to reports in Italy.

The France international, who finished as the Blues’ top scorer in Europe, was linked with a move to AC Milan after accepting a bit-part role behind Timo Werner and Kai Havertz under Thomas Tuchel.

There was not a Chelsea fan out there that did not believe he would stay at the club, and all indications suggested that he was ready to leave Stamford Bridge and seeks a fresh challenge in the Italian League.

Yet the former Arsenal striker committed his immediate future to the Blues, having signed a one-year contract extension, which shocked many in the media that firmly believed that he would be leaving the club in the very near future.

But despite the reports that Tuchel could keep him at the club, he now looks set to pack his bags, jump on a plane and head over to Italian football and that is because Sky Italia has Giroud has now agreed a two-year contract with AC Milan worth €3.5 million (£3m) a year plus bonuses.

The report claims that AC Milan are yet to agree a fee with Chelsea, but Giroud is hoping that the club will allow him to leave on a free transfer.
