The prediction algorithm created by the guys at FiveThirtyEight has come up with probable results for this weekend’s game, and their super computer is backing Liverpool to get the victory.
Liverpool have been given a 42% chance to beat Chelsea at Anfield, while Chelsea were given a 32% chance of emerging victorious away from home.
The least surprising result would be Man City beating Arsenal at home, as Pep Guardiola’s side were given a 69% chance of beating Arsenal this weekend.
The key battle everyone will be looking forward to seeing in this game is Romelu Lukaku against Virgil van Dijk.
Lukaku tore apart the Arsenal defence last weekend, and many believe Van Dijk will be a more difficult test.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he’s looking forward to seeing his side battle against Lukaku as he told reporters: “Playing against Lukaku will be interesting.”
