Tuchel new formation revealed as Chelsea wants Haaland at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel recently admitted his admiration for the Borussia Dortmund striker.
However, despite signing Romelu Lukaku during the summer transfer window, the Blues remain interested in signing Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
Talking in October, Tuchel said: “We talked about Erling Haaland a couple of times, including during the transfer window. But then it seemed absolutely unrealistic and not at all feasible.
“We talk about him regularly, of course, because he’s a fantastic player and clearly the defining figure at Dortmund, who is a big rival for us in the Champions League.”
With Lukaku already in the team, many fans are wondering the formation Tuchel will deploy to accommodate Haaland in the team.
According to Football London, Tuchel will switch to the 4-4-2 formation he used during his time as PSG boss to accommodate Lukaku and Haaland in his team.
It remains to be seen whether Chelsea can secure a deal for the Norwegian striker.
