‘It’s scary how talented he is’ Grealish gets excited about possible £100M Chelsea signing
According to reports, Manchester City’s Jack Grealish has praised England teammate Jude Bellingham, who is a reported target for Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel
Bellingham signed for Dortmund in the summer of 2020 from Birmingham City in a deal worth £25million. Since then he has become a key player for the Bundesliga outfit and has earned a regular place in the England squad.
His performances for both club and country and bumped up his asking price to well over £100 million, but that has not stopped speculation about the big clubs all making a potential move.
The 18-year-old has taken the Bundesliga by storm and is already starting to force his way into the England starting line-up. and Grealish admitted how ‘scary’ Bellingham’s talent is at such a young age.
“I haven’t actually. It’s scary how talented he is at 18 years of age,” he told Hayters TV. “He’s just so mature and is built like he’s my age, about 26!
“He has so much technical ability and he’s such a mature player for his age. I can tell you one thing, I was nowhere near as good as he was when I was 18. I was on loan at Notts County and was a little scrawny thing,” said Grealish.
“The way he plays is so mature. You see kids who are 18, 19 who are talented but not a lot of them have that mature way about them.”
