In their La Liga clash over the weekend, Ancelotti failed to return a negative test in time for their trip to Celta Vigo on Saturday.
Spanish media outlet AS report that there is no guarantee Ancelotti will be available when Real take on Chelsea on Wednesday until he can test negative for Covid.
Both sides had contrasting fortunes in their weekend games, as Chelsea were beaten 4-1 at home to Brentford, while Real Madrid defeated Celta Vigo 2-1 away from home.
