BREAKING: Manchester United sends strong message to Premier league after latest decision on Man Utd vs Chelsea clash
According to latest reports, A new date has been fixed for the Premier League clash between Manchester United and Chelsea at Old Trafford following Chelsea’s progress to the FA Cup final.
However, The tie at Old Trafford will now hold on Thursday, April 28 instead of Sunday, May 15.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are believed to be unhappy with the new development, as it now means that United will have a two week gap between their penultimate game at Brighton and their final match of the campaign at Crystal Palace.
Apart from giving Ralf Rangnick’s side a run of opponents that now consists of Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea, questions are being raised at Old Trafford about the big gaps that have appeared in the fixture list, reports BBC Sport.
Manchester United’s lack of involvement in other competitions contributed to the long break, compared to the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool who have had little time to rest.
So while Thomas Tuchel is unhappy with the fixture load on Chelsea, Manchester United are unhappy with a long break.
