While playing as a center midfielder for Chelsea, Jorginho has come up against a number of outstanding players.
Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City is the toughest player the Chelsea midfielder has faced out of all the opponents he has played.
Jorginho was asked by the 5th Stand app to choose the most difficult opponent he’s ever faced, and he named Manchester City’s former Chelsea player as the most difficult opponent he’s ever faced.
When characterizing De Bruyne, he stated, “It’s incredibly hard to play against that boy.”
“It’s difficult!” He makes life difficult for all of us. “Such a talented and astute player.”
De Bruyne played with Chelsea for two years but only made nine senior games. In 2013, he was transferred to Wolfsburg for a pittance of £18 million.
De Bruyne became a top player after only two years at Wolfsburg and was sold to Manchester City for £55 million.
Chelsea supporters must be scratching their heads, wondering how this one got away.
