Chelsea fans got angry as two deals confirmed today ahead of summer transfer
Antonio Rudiger, a Chelsea defender, has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, and Fabrizio Romano has now verified that the deal has been completed.
Rudiger has officially signed his Real Madrid contract until 2026.
According to the source, Rudiger wants to be respectful of Chelsea and finish the season strong with the squad, thus the formal confirmation will not come until the end of the season.
Manchester City’s announcement of long-time Chelsea target Erling Haaland is another irritant.
Manchester City confirmed the deal via an official club statement: “Manchester City can confirm we have reached an agreement in principle with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of striker Erling Haaland to the Club on 1st July 2022.
“The transfer remains subject to the Club finalising terms with the player.”
Surely, Chelsea fans won’t be pleased to see Rudiger leave the club, and Haaland signing for our rivals is another annoying sight.
Indeed, Todd Boehly has a lot of work to do this summer.
